What PitchVAR is.
A football analytics and community site: live market data, match history, player pages, research, and a community with a virtual rewards balance. Using the site means you accept these terms.
What PitchVAR is not.
We are not a bookmaker, exchange, or gambling service. We never take, hold, or place bets. The market prices shown are recorded public data, presented for analysis and education. Nothing here is betting advice.
Your balance.
Your account carries a balance of virtual rewards, for use inside PitchVAR only. It is not money and never becomes money: it cannot be cashed out, transferred to another user, or wagered on the outcome of anything. The purchased part of your balance never expires; promotional and earned parts carry the expiry dates shown in your ledger. If we ever discontinue the site, promotional and earned balance has no redeemable value; unspent purchased balance is handled under Payments & refunds below.
Payments & refunds.
The purchased part of your balance is bought through our payment provider (Stripe) at the price shown at checkout. If you bought balance and haven't spent it, tell us within 14 days through the contact form and we'll refund it in full. Balance you've already spent — on sponsored spots, boosts, or anything else inside the site — has been used, and used balance isn't refundable. Because purchased balance is delivered to your account instantly, at checkout you agree the purchase is delivered immediately and waive the cooling-off period that would otherwise apply to undelivered goods in some places (this is the standard rule for instant digital delivery in the EU/UK). Promotional and earned balance was free, so it carries no refund value. If we ever discontinue the site, we'll say so in advance and refund unspent purchased balance from the previous 12 months.
Your account.
You need to be at least 13 years old (this is children's-privacy law, not us being dramatic). One account per person; you're responsible for what happens on yours.
House rules.
No hate, harassment, racism, spam, or illegal content. Commenting is free; abusive posts get removed, and correct flags earn the flagger a bounty. Repeated abuse ends the account — and its balance with it.
Your content.
Your comments are yours; by posting you give us permission to display them on the site. We can remove content that breaks the rules.
Copyright complaints (DMCA).
If you believe content on PitchVAR infringes your copyright, reach our designated agent through the contact form (choose “Corrections”) with the work, where it appears on our site, and your contact details — infringing material comes down promptly. Repeat infringers lose their accounts.
The data.
We work hard to make every number on this site accurate, and we label our sources. Still, data can be wrong or delayed — use judgment, and don't make financial decisions based on anything here.
Liability.
The site is provided as-is. To the maximum extent the law allows, we're not liable for losses arising from your use of it.
Governing law.
These terms, and anything about the site, are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that ends up in court belongs exclusively to the state or federal courts sitting in Kings County or the Eastern District of New York, and you and we both accept those courts. Nothing in this section takes away consumer protections the law of your home country grants you that can't be waived.
Disputes.
Before anyone involves a court: write to us through the contact form, tell us what went wrong, and give us 30 days to make it right — most problems are a mistake, not a fight. If 30 days pass and we haven't fixed it, both sides are free to pursue the courts named above. Either side may use small-claims court instead for anything that fits there.
