Who we are.
PitchVAR (pitchvar.com) is a football analytics and community site operated by its founder. Questions or requests about your data reach the founder directly through our contact form.
What we collect.
If you create an account: your email address, your chosen username, and what you do here — comments you post, poll votes you cast, flags you raise, sponsored spots you watch, and your reward balance and its history. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email from Google; we never see your password. Without an account, we don't collect personal information.
What we use it for.
Running the site: showing your username on your comments, keeping your account ledger honest, counting poll results, moderating flagged content, and emailing you the things you asked for (sign-in links, confirmations). Nothing else. We don't sell your account data, and we don't use it to build advertising profiles of you — advertising on the site is served by Google (see Cookies & advertising below).
Where it lives.
Account data is stored with Supabase (our database provider). The website is served by Vercel. Emails are sent through Resend from our own domain. Each processes data on our behalf under their own security terms.
Cookies & advertising.
We use browser storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We also show ads through Google AdSense: Google and its partners use cookies to serve and measure those ads, and — where permitted — to show personalised ads based on your prior visits to this and other sites. You can review and control how Google uses your data at Google's partner-sites policy, opt out of personalised Google ads at Ads Settings, and manage third-party ad cookies at aboutads.info/choices. Aside from keeping you signed in and serving these ads, we run no other third-party trackers.
Your rights.
Send us a note through the contact form and we'll show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete your account and everything attached to it. Deletion removes your profile, comments, votes, and balance history permanently.
Children.
PitchVAR is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has created an account, tell us through the contact form and we'll remove it.
Changes.
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll say so on the site before it takes effect.
